I use JCM800 2203 modified to 50W and I am completely satisfied with it. Specially since I sold my old JCM800 4x12" (4x80W) box and bought new MIC Marshall 2x12" (I don't know the model) which opens the amp sound so much. Beside Epi I have Gibson BFG made in 2007. It is very raw sounding guitar without compromise - just plug and fire it up. Burstbucker III is new to me (I had Ibanez LP De luxe made in 1971. and I upgraded it with 500T. It was pretty nice, but not nice as Gibson).
I just wanted to upgrade my Epi to make near-as-sounding-as some nice Gibson standard (Slash's is quite OK

). Also I am aware that is hard to get so I just want to get it powerful, warm and sweet but sharp and pretty defined tone. I know that Epi's wood is not as the same as Gibson's so I am looking for some combination pup-Epi's wood that you guys already tried and could recomend it to me.
