No,it's wired normal except the mid pup is wired together w/the bridge pup and is controlled via both sets of controls.
Some say it's wired out of phase but it isn't. I think it's because the mid pup is usually screwed down so you get that "quack" that Strat's are known for.
I love it,personally. I usually have the bridge vol rolled back a couple notches and switch to the mid position for a nice warm,clean sound. The neck I usually use for soloing(this is when I use the 2203)which is like being wrapped in a comfy blanket on a cold night Beautiful.
The AC15 though is something different again…

Yes I do Ld. I took the P/G off my Deluxe as well, but having said that, my '72 Custom still has it on and so does my 355.

I can imagine how nice that must sound with the 2203, what an amp!

Yeah, the "blend" is pretty cool, you can get some nice, different sounding tones from it.
