Oh, I understand. I thought you were showing the center line of the neck running through the body and you accidentally cut the pickup holes in the wrong spot.
I honestly can't see the joint line at all in this picture. So it shouldn't matter that it's offcenter
Aw! You painted it white??? Such a shame to hide the pretty wood! Is it a creamy white like Fender puts on Telecasters? If it's like that then it will look great!
I want to put binding on the one I'm building too. Mine is Neckthru, so it might be difficult to cut the channel where the neck and body meet. I might partially cut out the body at least in that area so I can rout the binding channel there before I glue the body wings to the neck.
