I like the covers of Hendrix's songs more then I like the originals. I like the SRV versions of his songs more, and I think Slash's Voodoo Chile is better.

jimmy page is a good lead blues/rock player. not amazing, but very good. but mr page's true genius lies in other places.
ie:
1) his ability to improvise.
2) his acoustic work
3) his ability to use/blend so many different styles of music (reggae, blues, traditional english folk, etc)
4) his absolute mastery of the studio. his ability to compose and arrange is amazing. his use of mics is second to none.
and some might add his ability to plagiaize and get away relatively scott-free.
