If you have stock modern Gibson wiring simply move the cap lead from the outside lug (pu lead) of the volume pot to the center lug (switch lead) and you will have 50's wiring.

50's wiring will help retain your highs as you roll off the volumes, and works well with tube amps. Try the 50's vs modern and see what you think. You can always upgrade caps later on.
