I have a '73 Custom with recent Burstbuckers 1 & 2. (The original stickered T-Tops are long gone). I'm thinking of changing the PU's. I have two things in mind and would love your guys opinion on this. First option is to find a set of early stickered T-Tops, drop 'em in there and the guitar will be closer to original or..

Due to past great experiences with WCR pickups in another Gibby I had, put a set of those in there. I contacted Jim at WCR a couple of days ago and he recommends the American Steele set (Godwood bridge/ Crossroads neck)..Along with the PU's he highly recommends I take out the original electronics and install a set of his..(his are 550K plus or minus 10%, all brass interiors, custom taper (his specs). The originals are 500k plus or minus 20%.

So..Would you:

-Just locate/put in a set of early 70's stickered T-Tops
-Put in a set of WCR PU's only
-Put in a set of WCR PU's and electronics
