I wouldn't try it yourself if you haven't done it before. The best luthiers in IMO are local independents. I don't know where you live but if it's a big city there's likely one around. Maybe try a google search in the area. Find one with testimonials. Ask other guitar players where they go. Your new nut whether bone, graphite, etc. needs to be slotted correctly too. Believe me, you want it done right. I also agree with a previous post. GC ain't the place!
