My aged DMC nut on my '07 is closer to the Fatboy than the DMC nut you have pictured.
The non aged DMC nut that's on my '06 is like the DMC nut you have.

My '06 R0 with the non aged DMC R/T ring and nut.I also just put the Historic Makeovers Vintage Clone switch tip on there.

Perhaps there are two versions of DMC nuts?
The DMC tuner tips you had don't look very good IMO.

Did you just get the DMC tuner tips or the whole DMC tuners?
One the DMC site the show the tuners and they look fantastic.
Very different from what you have.
