Yeah, I took my own guitar into GC and they lined up every pedal they had in the range of Drive/OD/Distortion and they had a C30 there. I played thru them all and the GT500 sounded the best to me. YMMV, but I love this damn thing honestly...lol..

..ps...this was with a guitar that has humbuckers in it..fyi...
