Brazilian rosewood vs any other rosewood
Hi,
Many of you talk about brazoo, Brazilian rosewood (or Rio Rosewood) as a really good tonewood.
I have a 1965 gibson Melody maker (It really sound good), it has Brazilian Rosewood (I think so), I red Gibson stopped using Brazilian Rosewood in 1966, Some wrote, on this forum that they stopped in 1969.
What does Brazilian Rosewood provide (so particular ) in the sound?
How can we make the difference between Brazilian Rosewood and any rosewood on a photo (for example on ebay) ????
Thank you.
