Re: Sanded the back of the neck of my Classic

i posted a thread in the Luthier's Corner but i figured id tag it on to this thread as well because it might get seen more... anyways when I sanded my neck I left a thin strip of lacquer on the edges of the neck for the binding and a little past it and was wondering if anyone knew if there would be any adverse affects to going ahead and sanding the lacquer off the entire neck, binding included so its all uniform and smooth/absent of the lacquer? If anyone knows please do tell because If its ok Id like to get started on it after I get off of work in a few hours. Any help is very much appreciated!
