Actually I have a stack of American relatives and Irish I never even knew about untill some relation of mine e-mailed me with the family tree, as he was into genealogy in a big way.
Imagine B-squared's great great great Grandfather fighting in the civil war, or mine seated on some horse with full armour and a lance.. Jesus! I wonder what these people were like. What great times they had in their lives and what disasters and misery and that one day our great great great great grandchildren will be tring to find out what we were like..
