Thanks for all the nice comments, guys! I'm really torn on this one. I've never been a big goldtop fan, so I was originally looking for a beat up '50s guitar with which I could do a '59 conversion, and not feel at all guilty. Then this thing comes along...in beautiful condition. It would be an easy goldtop restoration candidate, but I hate the thought of hiding that beautiful top. And I think it would be just as awesome with a nice faded burst, or naked, as-is. So for now, I think I'll just leave it naked, and enjoy it for what it is. Thanks again!
