Re: 2000 Les Paul Classic

esskell,

I'm glad you read up on Les Pauls before your purchase. That is a great looking top of that guitar. Is there much fret wear on it?

I also have a 2000 Les Paul Classic that I bought new in Nov 2000. It is the Honeyburst color and similar to yours. The top has a varigated grain to it I think. I kept the original ceramics in it for three years. Then I took them out and put in the same Duncans that you have. Much better for me. I keep .10 gauge strings on it. It is probably in need of a fret dress right now, but I could get some miles out of it I guess.

Congrats on you purchase and many enjoyable hours you should have with it.
