I agree that marketing is supremely important, but I'm talking about from the heart who you feel isn't worthy of being in the same group as Page. Buckethead hardly inspired millions to pick up the guitar. I can't even think of a single song that is memorable. The way things are going, there might be a Miley Cyrus, Hannah Montana model. That would probably sell lots. Maybe even a Twilight model.
For me, Billy Duffy of The Cult was a hero of mine. He became a "Les Paul" guy and wrote some pretty good stuff. I'm not saying he deserves a model, but in that vane, Kroeger does not deserve one. In 40 years, will people look back and listen to "How you remind me"?
