While I'd love to have a burst in the abstract, In the real world I don't think I'd enjoy having a guitar that required special security measures because of its value, and that I therefore wouldn't be able to play every day, take to gigs, etc.

I can see owning a $20K guitar. I just can't see owning a $100K guitar.

Maybe if I had a bigger house...with a vault....
