Re: how do i build a guitar

well building a guitar for me began for the lack of $$$ as a child & I would build plywood bodies & add scavenged necks. As I bought hundreds of guitars the first thing i do would be tear it apart, There was no guitar that i didn't see where some kind of improvement could be made. Most learning was trial & error & i would get all the books that i could & then Stew - Mac was a big push forward for parts . I progressed to doing my own designs & experimental models. I moved on to signing up at local continuing education classes where you can use the schools workshop & let me tell you the big tools make things much easier & faster , Now days I do mostly restoration & design , blueprinting & subout the work to very talented & more equipped people
