Well the problem is not the strings comming off it's getting the wraps on correctly and before I used to use this technique I used about half a year ago, when I would restring the guitars some of the smaller gauge strings would have the wrappings go around wrong criss crossing eachother etc. so I said hell I'll try this out and it seemed to work pretty damn well.
