Hey all.........
Yea the Ivory has always been a nuisance. I have 3 sets of Gibson Pure pickup rings still in the package and all three are a different tint of ivory/cream. One has the pinkish tint that ArchEtech speaks of. The solid Ivory acrylic matches some but not others while my backpainted ones match some as well. I've begun the hunt for paint that matches the pinkish tint better. Backpainting the clear will be the only way to come close to that. I'm working on it.
And here's a pic of what the pickguards look like when the first come off the CNC router.........Before beveling the edges, polishing, forming and if needed, painted (these are the clear ones. There is a white poly masking on them)
