Narrow or wide bridge?

From a previouse post, I am going to fit a new Gotoh bridge. They do a modern abr ish equivelant which is narrow, or a Nashville which is wider and gives a larger range for intonation adjustment. Same stud and saddle spacings on both. What would you go for? Any disadvantages of wide bridge, will strings touch back so have to set tailpiece higher?
