I can't speak for anyone else, but I find the spotty things the ugliest finish I've ever seen on a Les Paul. I wouldn't touch it even if they were going dirt cheap.
Well, I would, but I'd have to strip and paint them.
Seriously, they look ****ing horrible in the pics.
Someone said they don't look so bad in real life, and I can believe that- guitars like this never come out perfectly in photos.
But man, those spotty things look horrendous.
