IME Grovers are great tuners, worst thing that happens is the adjustment screw loosens off over time and then you just snug it up a bit. Even cheaper tuners (Ping, for example) seem to work pretty well...any tuning problem I've ever had was down to the nut. That "almost in tune, then pulls sharp" syndrome just screams nut issue. JMO
