Don't spend a lot of your hard earned money on products you don't need. Get yourself a #2 pencil and color the nut slot with it. Graphite is what a pencil lead actually is.
Make sure you lock your strings when you install them. Then when you get some extra cash, get rid of those crappy tuners Gibson and Epiphone use on their guitars.
This just my opinion, I could be wrong.
