Thats a good idea, use them and put them away
for gigs.

I had the telefunkens by accident, they were in
my Marshall 800 from the 80's I had taken
them out in the 90's thinking they were just some
OLD tubes hahah, had no idea they were worth alot.
I was going through my tube drawer and found
them the other day, put them in my VM the sound
pretty good. Dont know how long they will last though
I probably should do what you say and use them
for recording but not every day wear and tear
