I have a JTM45 clone. NOS tubes are expensive, but
there are great tubes made nowadays too and they are quite a bit easier on the wallett.
In my opinion BBs are pretty versatile with the linkable channels and all.
And they take pedals quite well.
But if you're going to use it for bedroom practice you'll need an attenuator or pedals to get any overdrive.
