Great thread, and great blow-by-blow! Just curious, when you sanded the inlays (while on the board), did you sand length wise along the fingerboard, or back and forth across the fingerboard...or doesn't it matter. And did you end up sanding your whole fingerboard...even the frets with no inlays...to ensure that the whole board looked the same?
