TBH I don't play much metal at all. My style leans more towards funk/blues with a lot of leads on top...but that's why I got 'em...the cleans are very thick, very full and they sustain well, and the leads are killer!
I know that not everyone shares this opinion, but it's cool to have at least one guitar with actives in it.
