Been building this one up for a few months now and it's almost at a stage where I'm happy with it.... just got to decide on a DD3 or DD7 for the end of the line to replace the Behringer EM600 delay that I picked up on Ebay for 40 bucks last year. Don't laugh the EM600 is a beauty some of the sounds you can get out of it are awesome particularly with the stereo outputs going to 2 amps but it's just too damn noisy on or off...
Anyway in sequence:
Boss TU-2
Dunlop Zakk Wah
Dunlop Rotovibe
MXR EVH Phase 90
MXR Wylde OD
Boss GE-7
Boss CE-5 (stereo outs to the EM600's stereo in's)
Behringer EM600 (stereo outs to 1 or 2 amp/s)
All powered by the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus which is awesome - 8 independent outputs no noise at all (cept when the EM600 is in the circuit) and saves a heap of dollars and hassle on batteries.... all velcroed onto a neat case just gotta snap the lid on and away you go... take the lid off plug the guitar into the TU-2 and the out/s to an amp or 2 and you got sound.....sweeeet sound...
I flogged all my pedals 15 years ago got sick of the hassle with them all but with this setup I'm a born again pedalphile.....
Any feedback on the DD3 or DD7 much appreciated... I see from HC that the DD3 is loved by all who own one but limited in spec while the DD7 has more bits but has mixed reviews particularly with noise...but it does have stereo in's and out's which is pulling me towards it.....
This is all going in the front end of the amp/s with no tone suck and limited noise (cept when the EM600 is in the circuit). The loop drains too much effect for my liking - kind of defeats the purpose.
