what does the "R" and the "H" stand for?

I was once going to switch my epi humbuckers on a studio w/ pickups that I had mistakenly bought that were from a Sheraton. & I had read that epi will sometimes get their stickers messed up. Anyways the the bridge & rhythm stickers were complete opposite on the guitars, so were the red/black cables alongs w/ the "R" & "H".
I just left that alone
