I own a MIK Epi Standard & a MIC Epi standard and I have had NO issues at all WRT truss rods or Getting the neck straight or the action low at all. I have owned 4 Epi LPs in my life & never had construction issues w/them (occasionally I have heard that others do) but I don't hesitate to buy Epiphone, my beef is I replace the stock pups w/Gibson Burstbuckers and we're good to go. If you want the Slash Epi, play it first & if she speaks to ya get her & feel good about it (then post lots of pics here...lol).
