Don’t believe everything you read!
Seriously, the maple is there for the sustain and tone
it provides. The fact that when they are finished you
can see the wood has figure to it, is just a bonus.
If you see a guitar, and you like it, and it sounds good,
and it feels good when your playing it, that’s all that
matters.
