Gibson has somehow managed to leak its own 2019 line-up – on its own website. The details for most of next year’s models have all been listed over the weekend, and there are some pleasant surprises amongst the plethora of models.

Seems everyone was super excited at the idea of Gibson coming out with these new Brazilian Les Pauls. They were even white hot for a moment last year when supply was low, but I'm seeing them pop up used in record numbers. Are these things duds or what?

Got an email today from Bonamassa saying to watch his Bona-Zeppelin rendition of a couple songs. Get over your pretentious Bona self!!! I like your playing, met you, seen you play a bunch of times and even bought one of your personal guitars...

So I got this old '71 deluxe conversion last month and I been messing with it of course. Thought you might dig this progression.

Thought this might be interesting. Pair up your Les Paul and Fender guitars!

I didn't know about different cutaway binding widths from different eras. My first Lester was a '95 Standard with wide cutaway binding. So when I got my Access with narrow binding, I thought it was sloppy finishing that had covered over the binding

"In other words, while Gibson was dismissing and name-calling their customers, Fender was actually listening to their customers." Thought some might find this a good read.
