My Les Paul Forum

Les Paul Guitar Forum. Gibson and Epiphone

14 years later and it's back! $10k!
No word on whether they will build headstock that is hurricane-proof.
15 vintage Les Paul guitars were compared in this video. Check it out!
[IMG] Mine was in 1969, I had just been taking guitar lessons for about a year. I had started playing guitar on my own in 1964, (8 years old)... after I saw the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show, (like millions of other little boys).
[IMG] The guitar is my old Les Paul, a 1995 Les Paul birdseye standard. I've changed the nut (nylon nut), bridge-tailpiece-studs (all vintage-correct Pigtail), 500k CTS pots, bumblebee caps and currently I have installed the (pretty awesome!) Monty's pickups.
[IMG] Iowa man uses Les Paul guitar to kill his mother by beating her head in with it. No disclosure if it was a Standard, Custom, Studio or Chibson.
[IMG] I bought a Goldtop from Reverb. Seller had 250+ feedback, mostly positive. Guitar arrives in a box that smelled like cat piss. And had visible stains of cat piss. Not impressed.
I found it as a video and had to make an animated gif of it to post here. I watched it like 5 times and kept laughing and thinking of Ozzy as a little kid.
[IMG] Nashville-based guitar maker Gibson Brands Inc. is putting its Downtown Memphis factory on the market as it looks for a new, smaller home. The Memphis plant is one of Gibson's three production facilities, and the only one open for tours.
